This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change. 


Your Responsibilities


As a Aftermarket Product Manager Turf and Utility for JD Cary located in Cary, NC, you will:


  • Gathering aftermarket customer needs and translating needs using the appropriate Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP) tools into prioritized portfolio solutions with supporting business cases and value proposition / differentiation documentation. 
  • Executing ECAP 2.0 activities for service parts and attachments by using analytics and knowledge of the customers and competitors to understand financial positions, gaps, and opportunities which can then be used to create a lifecycle roadmap for aftermarket growth. 
  • Representing your product line/s in key product portfolio planning activities, production system, and business unit meetings, and provide key information to business owners on aftermarket portfolio needs. 
  • Owning profit by product financial results for the Aftermarket Business and being responsible for revenue growth and margin improvement for product line/s.

What Skills You Need


  • Two or more years of experience with the Enterprise Product Development Process (EPDP) and / or Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP) or similar processes. 
  • Two or more years of experience with Ag & Turf products (Turf preferred).
  • Two or more years of experience of Financial Acumen - understanding and experience with P&L, margin improvement, revenue growth. Ability to develop a business case and make trade-off decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent network and relationship building skills
  • One or more years’ experience influencing without authority - experience with customer support aftermarket lane and product line marketing  
  • Three or more years’ experience with data analysis and analytics tools - may include but not limited to PowerBI, advanced Excel, Tableau, etc. 
  • Ability to utilize product and customer data and translate into customer needs and potential solutions. 
  • One or more years’ experience holding peer teams accountable for high performance. 
  • One or more years’ experience working in a global team environment. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally (primarily domestic) 


What Makes You Stand Out


  • Knowledge of Turf products, customers, markets, and competitors.
  • One or more years’ experience presenting a business case to executive leadership (minimum director level).
  • Two or more years’ experience writing and publishing customer and dealer facing marketing materials, including the MOCI tools.
  • One or more years’ experience with facilitating, proposing, and recommending a decision based on a set of alternatives. 
  • Understanding of market segmentation and dealer channels. 
  • Experience with negotiation and conflict resolution. 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and generate new and innovative ideas for sales growth and customer satisfaction. 



Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management, Marketing, Engineering/Technology, or Agricultural Sciences discipline. 
  • MBA preferred.
