 This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time.  The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Hardware Test Engineer for the Turf and Compact Utility Group located in Grovetown, Georgia, you will define and execute functional tests on Electronic Hardware Components according to Internal and External test Standards. In addition, you will: 

 

  • Document Test Results and interface with suppliers to consume Test Reports
  • Create and execute on-vehicle tests plans to verify electronic system functionality
  • Work with stakeholders to form and review test plans
  • Communicate Test Results and collect additional data when issues are identified

What Skills You Need

 

  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, testing, or integrating products that were successfully delivered to production, especially electrical and mechatronic systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing or testing electrical and electronic devices.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to break down, solve, and convey complex features/issues to engineers in other disciplines.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with on-machine testing at Deere test sites or customer sites.
  • Experience with test plan design and test execution at the component level or subsystem level.

Education Details

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
