Title: Senior Battery Electric Vehicle, Test Engineer
Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position


This position is eligible for a flexible or telework work schedule arrangement at the present time.  The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.


Your Responsibilities


As a Battery Electric Vehicle, Test Engineer for the Turf and Compact Utility Platforms located in Morrisville, NC or Augusta, GA, you will identify and develop battery electric vehicle tests and procedures based on industry best practices, functional, performance, safety, and compliance requirements. In addition, you will:


  • Lead the test plan development and verification testing of advanced Research & Development projects
  • Create a test strategy (where to test) for the scope of features being delivered – MiL/SiL (virtual environment), HiL (subsystem simulator), and ViL (on vehicle)

What Skills You Need


  • 5 or more years’ experience in product development
  • 2 or more years’ experience in applications with lithium-ion battery technology
  • 2 or more years’ experience in the development and execution of embedded software verification and validation in the SiL, HiL, and ViL environments
  • Demonstrated project leadership and decision making
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Experience in agriculture, off-road or on-road products or electrical vehicle forms
  • Experience with technologies including electrification, automation and connectivity
  • Systems Engineering and project management experience
  • Significant knowledge and experience with test automation tools and environments (HiL, SiL, ECU-Test)
  • Knowledge of Agile development process and Rally tool



Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
