Your Position:

Major Purpose

Provides product and customer support or training for products, services, or initiatives and drives activities to improve reliability and serviceability of products. Resolves advanced product problems using known information & personal knowledge. Identifies advanced to moderately complex problems and may need to refer some of them to higher levels for resolution. Locates existing information from multiple sources within Deere to identify previously successful solutions to similar problems. Develops new solutions and provides product technical support to field teams, channel partners, customers on advanced problems; and coaches channel partners on the use of problem resolution tools. May participate in Product Improvement Program (PIP) development and on problem solving teams. Provide advanced research for Model Product Development Program (PDP) projects or product improvement programs within Product Support as requested. May develop and deliver technical training. Travels as necessary to collect failure data to provide problem definition on advanced problems.

Major Duties

  • Manage and evaluate dealers: develop reasonable and effective machine service standards and participate in evaluation.
  • Push the service preparation of dealers for chopping season. Lead the issues review in chopping season and track the resolution.
  • Develop and follow up incentive projects implementation.
  • Develop a training plan for the technicians according to service capability and requirement.
  • Develops and optimizes solutions to make Connected Support deployed and expanded.
  • Integrates and develops alert logic into system, make alert distribute to relevant channel partners. System daily operation.

Required

  • Engineering knowledge: Engineering discipline with knowledge of electrical, or software systems, experience with sensors and controllers.
  • IoT data center application: Experience of IoT data center, familiar with features/functionalities, vehicle/industry IoT background is preferred.
  • CAN system knowledge and tools Familiar with SAE J1939 standard, CAN tools or other Relevant ones, hands-on machine electrical control system testing.
  • Vehicle software: Writing and reviewing software requirements of telematics, experience with vehicle systems software and component integration, automation, controls.
  • Agriculture or Construction Machine background is preferred.
  • Learning and self-driven, English skills in speaking & writing.

Education

  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - Master’s degree
