Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position
This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer - Validation for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will:
- You will lead product validation efforts with customers across our John Deere technology stack including displays, connectivity, and John Deere Operations Center.
- You will focus on the customer journey while using our products to identify roadblocks, points of confusion, and issues.
- You are responsible for connecting product managers, engineers, user experience, and other customer facing roles within John Deere, with a heavy focus on solving customer problems.
- You will be the final line of defense before our products reach our customers with a constant focus on quality, functionality, and usability.

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of experience working with or in the following types of roles: customer support, product support, verification testing, validation testing, customer testing, product management, project management.
- 2 or more years of experience leading a significant or impactful change to a customer experience requiring you to: sell an idea to a customer or leadership, bring a group of engineers together from different areas of the business, teach others about a full system and how it works.
- 2 or more years of experiencing working directly with customers to solve their problems. Activities ranging from: escalating issues to developers/leadership, creating defects, prioritizing work, documenting root cause & pulling teams together to solve technical issues.
- 1 or more years working in the area of product discovery, organizing product/customer feedback, setting up surveys/research, and sharing that information with a broader team.

Education Details
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
