Deere & Company is seeking a Sr. Battery Modeling and Controls Engineer in Cary, NC with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field plus 2 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Design and develop electrification subsystem models, such as power electronics, batteries, and electric machines, using MATLAB and Simulink (2 yrs); Research and develop advanced control theories and algorithms to support vehicle electrification (2 yrs); Test and develop embedded software (C language) using auto-code generation in hardware-in-loop systems and high-voltage lab environment (2 yrs); Develop FEA/CFD models for thermal analysis using ANSYS or STAR-CCM+ (2 yrs). 15% travel required.
