Deere & Company is seeking a Engineer Product in Cedar Falls, IA with the following requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or foreign academic equivalent, plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include: perform both frequency domain and time domain analysis of drivetrain rotational systems using Simcenter AMESim and postprocess resulting data using in-house python utilities (5 yrs); develop custom physics-based components for novel simulation projects based on state-space ordinary differential equation canonical forms implemented in the C programming language (5 yrs); create modular transmission performance models with an interchangeable spectrum of fidelity levels while simultaneously ensuring minimum model accuracy standards are satisfied (3 yrs); maintain and contribute to dynamic system model data repositories for shared component, subsystem, and system models using SVN and an automated workflow process (5 yrs). 10% travel required.
