Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position 


This position is located onsite at the JDTIC Research Park on the campus of the University Of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.


The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.


Your Responsibilities


  • Work with application engineers to determine system level requirements by:
    • Develop a common data collection methodology across multiple platforms
    • Create an interactive visualizing tool
  • Develop an interface for downloading data in standard formats to be used by others for analysis and product specifications.
  • Create a comparison of data across different platforms to:
    • Find commonality
    • Find anomalies
  • Document process for using tool that was developed

What Skills You Need


  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science or data sciences; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
  • Must be able to commute to the work location at the Research Park on a daily basis
  • Graduation date of May 2022 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • Software experience such as MATLAB, Power BI, Tableau or similar software

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Knowledge of statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of ReliaSoft Weibull software
  • Knowledge of rotational mechanical systems and interactions
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Experience with Power Bi
  • Experience with Tableau
