Your Responsibilities


As a Full Stack Software Engineer (Data) with the Corporate Functions Agile team responsible for applications and IT technology stack for Legal, Compliance, Public Affairs, Aviation, Corporate Citizenship and Branding functions.  You will participate in all aspects of the Agile team's work which includes software delivery, product configuration, automation, analytics, and service management.


  • Participate in discussions with the Scrum and Product teams to develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements
  • Develop, code, configure, and test SaaS system extensions as well as internally developed programs and integrations
  • Deliver, operate, and optimize data systems and integrations using Data Management and ETL techniques
  • Utilize, maintain, secure, and optimize the AWS computing environment for ESF to deploy innovative solutions
  • Utilize automation techniques to digitalize tasks in situations where system integrations are not possible
  • Evaluate and implement solutions to improve the cost, quality, and performance of software applications
  • Follow industry-standard software design methodology for development and documentation

**This position is eligible for Partial Telework Arrangement and Flexible Schedule at the present time**

What Skills You Need


  • Four (4) or more years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of highly complex software solutions  
  • Four (4) or more years of understanding of application development, databases, data management and infrastructure 
  • Four (4) or more years of demonstratable ability to apply engineering principles and concepts for designs  
  • Two (2) or more years of deep experience with Java or Python programming languages  
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with integration technologies such as REST APIs, OS scripting, ETL tools 
  • Demonstrable skills in either AWS or Azure technologies
  • Strong Interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills 
  • Proven experience as working in a team environment

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Minimum One (1) or more years of experience with DevOps principles and lean development (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) 
  • Two (2) or more years of experience implementing major software programs leveraging change management
  • Understanding of design patterns and loosely coupled architectures
  • Experience configuring, and implementing system execution/quality monitoring tools
  • Experience with software test automation (TDD and Unit Testing Frameworks)



Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related career field
