Title: Infrastructure Engineer, Oracle Admin - 85428 

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position 

Your Responsibilities

As an  Infrastructure Engineer/Oracle DBA in Chicago, IL., you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of changes to the Global Databases and systems within established processes. In this role, you will role will provide support and maintenance by planning work and coordination with others to deliver functionality. In this role, you will be responsible to identify and implement modernization and automation ideas. 

• Providing Administration for Global Oracle Databases and Engineered Systems(Exadata, ODA)

• Implementing Version upgrades, automation, and continuous improvement projects

• Ensure availability, stability, and integrity of database systems

• Providing on call support in a defined time window on a rotational basis

What Skills You Need

• 5+ Years of experience in Information Technology

• 3-5+ Years of experience in handling, administering, and troubleshooting Oracle Databases, OEM and Engineered Systems

• 2+ Years of experience working in an Agile environment (Nice to Have)

• 2+ Years of experience in managing support, requests, and incident

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience as Oracle Database Administrator
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience working in a team environment, supporting team members, and working in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated passion for technical learning and implementing ideas leading to Automations and process improvements
  • Good Communication Skills


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience. University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Certification in Oracle Database Administration
