Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer on the Enterprise Product Data Management team, you will be a hands-on developer on a highly collaborative and cross-functional Agile delivery team dedicated to design, development, and delivery of software solutions impacting Deere & Co's global engineering community. Our teams are innovating the way we engineer by leveraging major cloud platforms, SAP, and Windchill. In this role you will usher in new solutions that enables participants in the engineering process to work in a new collaborative and harmonious approach. You will accomplish this through continually driving quality into delivered features; assist with root cause analysis, debug, and fix complex application issues and lead prevent recurrence initiatives; actively participate in team Agile ceremonies to establish strong software design.

What Skills You Need

  • 3 or more years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex cloud-native software solutions on Azure and/or AWS via RESTful APIs and JAVA
  • 3 or more years of experience in web application development, database design (relational and NoSQL), data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
  • 3 or more years of proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
  • 3 or more years working with major software platforms, such as SAP, Windchill PDMLink, or similar

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience working in the Product Lifecycle Management business function
  • Proven strong leadership skill and experience, influence effectively, ability to resolve impediments in a timely manner
  • Learning Agility / Innovative - desire and openness for continuous technical learning, including customization of SAP and Windchill platforms
  • Understanding of design patterns and loosely coupled architecture
  • Following Test-Driven Design principles and using testing frameworks, such as JUnit and Mockito
  • Developing user interfaces using REACT framework


  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology (or equivalent work experience)
