Your Responsibilities

 

As an Electrical Engineer for John Deere Construction & Forestry located in Dubuque, IA, you will….

 

  • Fulfill PDP design responsibilities for the utility class loader electrical systems including wire harnesses and electrical components
  • Collaborate with other functional areas through the Product Delivery Process, ensuring plans are formulated and followed to launch new vehicle programs into production
  • Lead ISDP projects as assigned to mitigate risk and ensure a robust loader program portfolio
  • Provide leadership and work coordination for contract and ETEC engineers

What Skills You Need

 

  • Engineering experience through course work, internships, or professional work experience
  • Strong demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated effective organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A strong ability and desire to quickly learn new subject matter and technologies

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Experience with electrical wire harness circuits, routing, schematics, and other electrical/electronic technical drawings
  • Experience troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools for harness routing, such as ProE- ProCable and Mentor Graphics - Capital Harness

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology discipline
