Your Responsibilities


As an Operator Station Module Engineer for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will be responsible for operator station Continuous Improvement updates. In addition, you will…


  • Define projects that help meet product durability and reliability requirements.
  • Work with cab suppliers to reduce need for rework and improve quality.
  • Produce and/or evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications.

What Skills You Need


  • 1 or more years of demonstrated ability applying engineering principles (through practical work experience, internships or educational coursework/projects)
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with ability to be self-directed and motivated
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Product design or product testing experience.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) process experience; Product Delivery Process (PDP); and Product Validation & Verification (PV&V) experience.
  • Experience using Creo (or similar modeling software), PDMLink, SAP, NCCA.
  • Background in construction or agricultural equipment operation.


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agriculture, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
