Title: Part-Time Student-Administrative Human Resources-Dubuque IA - 73106 


The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.


Your Responsibilities


Dubuque citizenship communications:

  • Align all efforts (volunteer, donations, overall community support) to John Deere’s new corporate citizenship strategy and new diversity/equity/inclusion (DEI) strategy.
  • Keep employees (production and salary) informed of the Dubuque direction/volunteer opportunities and engage employees in this space in order for us to make a larger impact in our communities.


Diversity/Equity/Inclusion (DEI):

  • Foster Dubuque Employee Resource Group (ERG) alignment and collaboration.
  • Align to cultural awareness calendar.



  • Enhance weekly communication for Dubuque Works.
  • Focus our efforts on high impact leadership and employee meetings.


What Skills You Need


  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in HR, Communications, DEI, Business Mgmt; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
  • Graduation date of May 2022 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year
  • Available to work during the summer semester
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Experience working on community DEI efforts
  • Experience working with different community programs
  • Experience with communications such as putting together newsletters
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
