Title: Part-Time Student-Facilities Engineering-East Moline IL - 70267 


The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.


Your Responsibilities


  • As a Facilities Engineering Part-Time Student, you will assist in the design, installation and maintenance of building features and internal equipment for various small projects such as concrete pavement/floor slabs, general remodeling projects, truck docks, cranes, conveyors, storage racks, mobile equipment, etc.
  • The tasks would include:
    • Assist with the development of project criteria
    • Gather necessary field documentation
    • Review and check design documentation from engineering consultants
    • Observe construction activities and final verification and testing
  • Major Duties:
    • Update and maintain preventative maintenance plans in the SAP PM module
    • Analyze Original Equipment Manufacturer documentation to prepare new preventative maintenance plans
    • Aid in the requisition and purchase of repair parts and equipment
    • Assist Facilities Engineers in assorted project management tasks


What It Takes


  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Engineering or related; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
  • Graduation date of 2022 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
  • 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
