Please note that the incumbent will be expected to travel up to 50% for dealer visits in the US and once a year to Australia and New Zealand.


This position is fully remote.

Your Responsibilities

As a Process Specialist, for Dealer Operations Data Analytics & Insights, you will be responsible for working with the Product Management team in translating dealer reporting needs into requirements and acceptance criteria. Based on the dealer requirements and platform capabilities help determine the best reporting solution for the requested reports.  This role will work with the internal and external vendor software development teams to deliver enhancements and/or defect fixes of medium to high complexity within a dealer business system solution. Collaborates with cross functional groups to provide documentation, training, product support, and implementation as well as consultative support as needed. The job responsibilities include:

  • Supporting planned work for multiple products and overall program goals and objectives.  This work is generally mid to long-term planning, well ahead of the product teams working on development
  • Playing a critical role to ensure the end product meets the quality, performance and functionality specifications product owners in the communication of product requirement clarifications and tradeoffs to the engineering team
  • Supporting product owners in dealer and internal product demonstrations and assists in events such as JDUG & EXPO
  • Responsiblity to Product teams for creation of support, training, and dealer communication documentation
  • Assisting and supporting with dealer implementation and change management activities
  • Coordinating and helping drive Power BI interactions with other areas of the Power Platform


What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years of experience in Dynamics Platform Reporting Solutions (Power BI, Management Reports, SRS) with strong emphasis on Power BI
  • 2 or more years of experience in data modeling, data visualization, and Power BI report configuration
  • 2 or more years of experience analyzing, translating, and defining business requirements into technical solutions
  • 2 or more years of experience and knowledge of the Agile development processes and methodologies/tools working on an Agile/SCRUM team
  • 2 or more years of understanding how technology can be applied to streamline business processes, drive value, and create efficiencies with our dealers

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Understanding of deploying reporting solutions to multiple tenants
  • Understanding of Microsoft licensing requirements
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated experience of products and services offered by John Deere Dealer Systems
  • 2 or more years of understanding dealer customer needs and dealer business strategy
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated capability to speak with impact at all levels of the organization


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
