Title: Senior Maintenance Engineer - 3rd Shift - 77252 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer – 3rd Shift for Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL, you will be the key technical resource for manufacturing equipment support during 3rd shift operational hours across the full Harvester Works portfolio of equipment/processes. In addition, you will:

 

  • Lead the maintenance team in complex issue troubleshooting and support (i.e. automation, electrical distribution, material handling, automated weld cells, hydraulic controls, data tracking/collection, and environmental controls).
  • Plan for maintenance of equipment and facilities to maximize the uptime and utilization of capital equipment assets.
  • Implement key continuous improvement projects in alignment to CI & TPM initiatives across all Harvester business units.
  • Train and Mentor other maintenance team members (wage and salary) for best practices and increased technical depth of the organization.

What Skills You Need

 

  • 3 or more years of experience in maintenance engineering or automation systems design experience including electrical controls, mechanical, hydraulic, power distribution, and robotics.
  • Strong history of communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience planning and coordinating improvement efforts across multiple departments, functions, and stakeholders to achieve improved business results.

  • Advanced ability to data mine and develop reports and tools to aid in decision making and strategic priorities for the team.
  • Understand and can you teach others about employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules appropriate for a UAW unit.
  • Advanced technical degree, CMRP certification, or PMP Certification

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management or Engineering/Technology
