Your Responsibilities

 

As a Software Engineer for Channel Integrations, you will join our team located at JDIS in East Moline, IL and be responsible for design, delivery, adoption, and support of IT solutions that contribute to the success of John Deere & Dealers. You will work on a product team and support product design by planning work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver moderately complex functionality. In addition, you will:

 

  • Assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel
  • Make decisions within established guidelines subject to review
  • Execute high level applications to more complex problems
  • Be innovative by fulfilling unmet customer needs.
  • Engage with other IT applications to deliver integrated solutions

What Skills You Need

  • 5 or more years of experience in designing, developing and implementing web-based applications using Java/J2EE, REST API, Spring framework (DSFJ), AngularJS, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, SAP Hana and AWS/Azure Services
  • 5 or more years of experience understanding of application development environments (including AWS/Azure), database (DBS, MSSQL, DB2), data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
  • 3 or more years of experience leveraging ITIL, DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (GitHub and Jenkins) to release features to market.
  • 3 or more years of experience understanding full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures
  • 2 or more years of experience with software test automation (TDD and Unit Testing Frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Cypress)

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
