Title: Part-Time Student Product Engineering-Software Design-Fargo ND - 68551 

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.


Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement specified code features or functions according to software processes.
  • Participate in design reviews, concept reviews, and code reviews.
  • Perform software functional tests by following a documented test plan using required equipment and documenting all results.
  • Create test plans based upon software requirements documents using appropriate resources and tools to gather needed information for requirements and design documents.
  • Both on the job and classroom training will be provided.

What It Takes

  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
  • Graduation date of Dec 2021 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
  • 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of C and C++ or other programming languages
  • Understanding of basic hardware circuits.
  • Understanding of microprocessor/microcontrollers
