Title: Electronic Hardware PV&V Engineer
Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey
Function: Product Engineering
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate all control system (ECU and sensor) electronic component validation and verification for all engine platforms.
- Manage testing at Deere facilities, component suppliers and external test houses.
- Creates and executes PV&V plans that correlate to field data and demonstrate reliability against component and system requirements.
- Creates and update all required documentation for PV&V activities. Documentation includes V2Nets, FMEAs and standard test procedures within eKV.
- Resolves test issues by proactively communicating failures early, making suggestions for improvements, facilitating root cause and following through on re-verification activities as required.
- Participates in Agile, supplier, CI, SAC, EQIT team meetings
- Identify and communicate capital requirements for future verification procedures and testing.
What skills you need
- 2+ years of experience in product validation and verification, preferably on electronic components.
- 2+ years on electronic component design.
- 2+ in test data acquisition and post processing.
- Verification and Validation planning and design risk assessment.
- Use of the scientific method for problem solving.
- Root cause analysis.
- Product design process and its validation activities.
- Use of technology to acquire data and validate systems.
- Rigorous data analysis. - Decision making.

What Makes You Stand Out
Education
Bachelor´s degree related to field in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Physics, Aeronautical, Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
