Title: Ergonomic Analyst 
Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey 
Function: Product Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze products/ human machine interfaces using digital modeling tools (such as RAMSIS or Jack) and physical validation methods (such as REBA and RULA) to ensure they meet ergonomics requirements and usability goals and prepare reports; insights for design refinements.
  • Perform anthropometric analyses of cab layout and machine layout to ensure the goals of fit, comfort, and visibility are met.
  • Support user research into intended use, user needs and use issues encountered during benchmark evaluation.
  • Support development of human factors usability evaluations based on virtual models and physical mockups, prepare detailed reports and design recommendations.

What Skills You Need:

  • Exposure to any digital ergonomic analysis tool like RAMSIS, Jack, IC.IDO, Santos, or University of Michigan Static Strength Prediction Program
  • Exposure to any virtual reality tools such as VRED, IC.IDO, Unreal, or Unity
  • Has a good understanding/exposures to:
    • Anthropometry; accessibility, biomechanics and physical ergonomics assessment tools (such as REBA or RULA)
    • Task analysis 
    • Human computer interaction
    • Usability assessments
  • Proficient in MS office, excel and power point
  • 1-3 years of experience in house or consulting environment related to product/ workspace design 
  • A collaborative style of working that fosters innovation and teamwork.
  • Exposure to any of the areas like anthropometric assessment task analysis; reach/accessibility analysis is desirable
