Title: Instrumentation Design PV&V Engineer 
Primary Location: México (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey 
Function: Product Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design instrumentation for physical quantities measurement (load, pressure, strain, etc.).
  • 3D modeling and 2D drawings of testing fixtures & high cycle testing components.
  • Measured data analysis.
  • Mechanical evaluation of structures.
  • Interpretation of FEA reports and correlation with measured data.
  • Test fixtures integration with other subsystems or tooling equipment.
  • Apply design for manufacturing principles & assembly simulations to clear tools.
  • Support test fixtures implementations on-site when required.

What Skills You Need:

  • Strong communication skills in English (speaking & writing).
  • Strong mechanical engineering principles (mechanics of materials, statics, dynamics, etc.)
  • 3D CAD software experience.
  • 2D drawings experience.
  • Familiar with manufacturing process for sheet metal, welding and assembly.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Proactivity and self-motivated for technical subjects.
  • Understanding of sensors, actuators and controllers knowledge, electrical engineering DC and AC.
  • Hands-on.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • FEA experience.
  • Physical testing (PV&V) experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Mechanical Design projects.
  • Familiar with eDAQ.
  • Familiar with CREO Parametric and PDM/Windchill.
  • Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

Education (or equivalent experience):

Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering degree (Physics, Automotive Design, Mechatronics, Aeronautic, etc.).
