Title: Supplier Quality Engineer 
Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey 
Function: Quality Engineering

Main Responsabilties:

Provides quality planning, control, and improvement support for product development teams, manufacturing engineering, supply management, and manufacturing and/or distribution organizations to assure John Deere product quality meets the customers' expectations. This includes the application of quality tools within the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP) and Customer Support Process (CSP). Also supports application of quality tools with key suppliers as an integral element of quality planning.

What Skills You Need:

  • Manage and monitor supplier quality performance for OFP/ PDP.
  • Conducting technical audits at Suppliers, drive supplier corrective actions.
  • Participates on PDP/ CI´s teams as Quality Integration representative.
  • Develop Quality Planning activities for PDP Programs and CI´s.
  • Lead and participate in Design Process and Assembly reviews, PFMEA revision, etc.
  • Review and monitor part approval activities. Verifying manufacturing process, Gage R&R and process capability studies.
  • Investigate supplier quality related issues and concerns utilizing quality tools.
  • Technical support to cross-functional teams (Factory and Suppliers).

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Good Level of English language domain.
  • Knowledge on Quality Integration process and experience on Quality planning activities.
  • Experience leading projects and facilitating cross-functional teamwork.
  • Knowledge on Quality Core Tools and processes (APQP, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP).
  • Experience working with Problem resolution tools such as 8D´s.
  • Knowledge in Drawing and schematic interpretation (GD&T) and product models.
  • Knowledge on Wire Harnesses (Manufacturing or Design)  
  • Experience in Product and Process audits.
  • Backgrown as Quality /Product Design/ Manufacturing.

Education:

Degree in an Engineering/ Technology discipline or equivalent experience – University Degree (4 Years or equivalent).

Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent experience - University Degree (4 Years or equivalent).

Degree in a Math discipline or equivalent experience - University Degree (4 Years or equivalent).
