Your Responsibilities

 

As a Manufacturing Engineer for Horicon Works located in Horicon, WI, you will….

 

  • Provide support to a specific assembly line regarding safety, quality, ergonomic, and tooling concerns
  • Investigate, plan, and implement new manufacturing processes or technologies
  • Lead cross-function teams for implementation of new product manufacturing processes through EPDP (Enterprise Product Delivery Process)
  • Use the line design process to develop assembly methods for new products and/or revisions to existing products.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with assembly tools and processes
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with both salary and wage employees

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Experience with industrial engineering principles such as work measurement and setting standards
  • Experience with electronic tools like MPP or Wplanner for creating sequence of events with associated work instructions and for dynamic simulation of assembly operations
  • Project management experience
  • Working knowledge of Assembly processes, Torque Tools, and line balancing
  • Understanding of electronic tools such as Creo, CreoView, Factory CAD
  • Experience in a union environment.

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Must have engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering degree preferred), related technical degree, or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
