Manufacturing Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs.
• Provides support and troubleshooting during new program implementation. Investigates, gathers, and analyzes data and implement solutions.
• Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas.
• Applies electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling and simulations.
• Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System. Designs operations layouts. Improves material flow and material presentation.
• Leads team studies related to capacity, productivity and efficiency.
• Leads and performs analysis, development and implementation of manufacturing processes and technology.

What Skills You Need

• Degree in Engineering/Technology discipline.
• Manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience in using lean manufacturing tools
  • Line and process design.
  • Material presentation.
  • Material Flow.
• Technical experience relating to development and sourcing of assembly tooling and fixtures.
• Experience in development of assembly documentation.
• Technical experience in verifying  production process capability.
• Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with Factory layouts and CAD systems. 
• English language skills, Dutch is highly preferred.
