We are looking for backfill to support our aggressive Distinctive Product Quality goal and to further strengthen the Operations team with the quality mindset and spirit. You are a highly motivated Quality Engineer who will take responsibility to be “the voice of Quality” and represent Quality and support cross functional line support teams. You need to have great interpersonal and process skills and you have a natural PDCA mind-set and drive.

 

Your Position

  • As on-boarding, you will start shadowing your counterpart colleague in the cross functional line support Team.
  • You will participate, drive and lead Continuous Improvement projects for your team and area of responsibility.
  • You will initiate and lead “No Fault Forward” actions to drive containment of, and lessons learned from quality issues.
  • You ensure that manufacturing control plans are designed, applied, maintained and executed timely and correctly.
  • You will participate in PDP (Product Design) implementation projects where you will assist the PDP Quality Engineer in implementing product changes in your area, where process capabilities are confirmed through PFMEA.
  • You are able to gather, monitor, and share quality driven KPI’s.
  • You are able to analyze medium to complex system data to drive fact based execution through your work.

Your Profile

  • Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, logistics etc.)
  • You have a broad dynamic range in communication skills, you can connect as easily with our factory workers as with our factory leadership.
  • You have a hands-on mentality and are familiar in the concept “leading without authority”.
  • Understanding of the Quality Process Controls and the connection to people executing them in a “No Fault Forward” structure.
  • You are able to apply common LEAN/Quality tools (A3, 5W, 8D, VSM).
  • Good Dutch and English language skills.
  • Desire to grow and develop yourself to next levels in our factory/company.
