Title: Credit Processing Specialist - 49830

Your Responsibilities

As a Credit Processing Specialist for John Deere Financial located in Johnston IA, you will respond to and resolve moderately complex service issues and requests. In addition, you will:

  • Enter credit application data
  • Audit lending documentation for accuracy and completeness before sending to the portfolio. This includes incentive programs, customer information, equipment information, dealer charges, customer payoffs, and signatures, and large credit contracts.
  • Perform customer support and account maintenance.
  • Answer questions and handle requests from dealers, customers, and internal staff.
  • Assist with problem-solving plus train and assist less experienced personnel.
  • Prepare modification form documentation to notify the dealer and the customer of any changes made to the original contract.
  • Working hours are from 8 am until 4:30 pm

What Skills You Need

  • Experience working in customer service or financial services environment
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills, strong attention to detail, excellent telephone skills, and service quality
  • Demonstrated ability to multiple-task with multiple products, systems, and processes
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships and focus on the needs of the customer and dealer
  • Skilled independent decision making and the ability to make decisions despite limited information
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, positively deal with changes, and demonstrate high personal work standards

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of internal systems including Filenet, Ceres, and Service Desktop
  • Product/market specific processing experience

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management discipline
  • High school or a secondary diploma
