Your Responsibilities


The Wholesale Credit Management team at John Deere Financial is helping our Wholesale Credit Offices across the globe manage risk and ensure our equipment can get to our dealerships and into the eventual fields and work areas of customers.

As the team's Delivery Architect, you will be the hands on technical leader and technology subject matter expert to both design and help the team implement complex technology solutions. You will work closely with the scrum team from a delivery and tactical perspective, as well as with business and product leadership to ensure enablement of the business needs through innovative design. In addition, you will have responsibility for the below:


  • Portfolio/Strategic:
    • Work with solution/strategic architects at the portfolio and division level to establish architecture roadmap
    • Ensure the product design follows architecture strategy and enterprise goals of a smart-connected enterprise, leveraging APIs.
  • Product/Roadmap:
    • Advocate for technical enablement, use of smart-connected architecture, and use of APIs, along with the IT Delivery lead, as part of a Scaled Agile Product Team
    • Participate in conversations with end users to understand their needs and translate those needs into technology based solutions.
    • Execute proof of concepts to aid the Scrum Team in defining the best design.
    • Communicate to the scrum/delivery team the need for spikes, technical enablers, and proof of concepts to the scrum team
  • Delivery/Tactical:
    • Guide the scrum/delivery team in designing a solution that meets the needs of the business
    • Collaborate with the scrum/delivery
    • Pair with ABAP developers as the write code and unit test. Providing technical guidance and real-time feedback
    • Enhance the current UX of the product by assisting and leading the scrum team in building out system processes in a more web-based UI (Fiori)

What Skills You Need


  • 5 or more years of experience with software and infrastructure architecture design, development, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Experience with creation and utilization of APIs
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and diverse environment

  • Experience with an Agile delivery process
  • Exposure to cloud data technologies
  • Global experience or general understanding of international considerations
  • Business Process knowledge in areas of Finance or Credit Management
  • 3 or more years of SAP experience
  • Fiori and S4/HANA experience


Education (or equivalent work experience)


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
