Territory Customer Support Manager (Turf), Southern and Central England and South Wales

John Deere is a leading supplier of agricultural and turf equipment. We are recruiting a Territory Customer Support Manager (TCSM) to join our Turf team.

The candidate should have:

• A horticultural, agricultural or engineering related qualification, preferably to degree level, along with experience in land-based industry, manufacturing, a dealer channel or with a competitive manufacturer.
• A knowledge of turf or agricultural machinery and associated technologies. Technical expertise would be an advantage but the role of TCSM calls for more than just a technical appreciation of the product.
• A sound understanding of franchised dealership business economy and key performance indicators of the aftermarket business.
• Empathy with dealers and customers, and the ability to apply common sense to challenging situations to uphold our distinctive and valued customer experience.
• Familiarity with our dealer distribution network would be an advantage.
• A good working knowledge of MS Office.

The successful candidate will have a good command of written and spoken English. A strong work ethic is essential, coupled with the ability to manage time and resources to achieve business goals.

Above all the candidate will be a confident and competent individual who commands respect and can drive sustainable results to support their dealers.

The role is based in Southern and Central England. The successful candidate will be required to reside or move there within an agreed time frame.

A clean driving licence is desirable.
