Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position 


The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.



Your Responsibilities


As a Part-Time Student for John Deere’s Aviation, you will:


  • Maintains various reports and preparing of presentations
  • Produce a variety of correspondence and reports in support of department processes
  • Enter data into appropriate spreadsheets and databases, and prepare reports as directed
  • Prepare month end accounting and various accounting daily processes
  • Performs analysis of basic or intermediate nature on information received, and researches or resolves discrepancies following prescribed procedures
  • Updates and maintains databases, systems applications or files to ensure accurate and current information is available for use by others
  • Maintain confidential data and know when and to whom it can be released


What Skills You Need


  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Aviation or other business related degreee
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
  • Graduation date of 2023 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year
  • Available to work during the summer semester
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • Demonstrated competency in computer software applications
  • Familiarity with basic accounting processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail


What Makes You Stand Out


  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience or knowledge of aviation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python and Tableau
