Your Responsibilities

 

As a Digital Librarian, you will be responsible for the ingestion, searchability, and maintenance of digital assets within multiple platforms.  Additionally, you will integrate the Digital Asset Management solution with frontend and backend applications to support business processes.  In this role you will act as an IT Digital Librarian, working directly with internal customers and stakeholders to fulfill digital asset requests and provide leadership with technical direction.  You will also work closely with other members of the digital asset management team to meet team goals and vision.

Major Duties:

  • Ingesting Assets
  • Assigning/Defining Metadata
  • Handling Search Requests
  • Custom Transcoding
  • Maintaining Retention/Security Policies
  • Archiving
  • Maintain AI auto taggers
  • Maintain PIM integrations

What Skills You Need

  • Demonstrated passion for technical learning and implementing ideas leading to automation and process improvements
  • Knowledge of Metadata Standards
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience
  • API Knowledge
  • Good Communication Skills

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Degree in Library Science
  • Database knowledge
  • JAVA/C# Programming Experience

Education

Degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
