Your Responsibilities

As an Engineering Manager within the Enterprise Data Organization, you will provide critical input into major technology decisions (e.g., upgrade decisions, major architectural decisions, establishment of coding standards) for our Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) platform product.

  • Support the Group Engineering Manager and the business and act as a servant leader to your product team
  • Ensure adherence to technical standards that will promote security, quality, delivery and cost effectiveness
  • Ensure Scrum teams align their efforts to the needs of the business and work within the framework of the overall IT strategy 
  • Manage Scrum teams and solve problems that are typically defined by standards, requiring complex analytical thinking; coordinate troubleshooting process

What Skills You Need

  • Extensive technical knowledge and background across a wide breadth of infrastructure and/or technology competencies - Application Development, APIs, Databases, Infrastructure, Cloud, Data Analytics, etc (6+ years across multiple of these)
  • Specialized experience with Data Science and Machine Learning capabilities and technologies
  • Working Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SageMaker, etc.
  • Experience leveraging DevOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment using tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience with Clean Code, TDD, Peer Reviews and Pair Programming
  • Experience working in an agile team environment
  • Passionate, creative and have the desire to learn new complex technical areas
  • Accountable, curious, and collaborative with an intense focus on product quality

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience in a related career field
