Your Responsibilities

 

As a Full Stack Software Engineer for Digital Aftermarket & Customer Support located in Moline, IL, you will support the Extended Warranty System and participate in all aspects of the Agile team’s work including development, testing and deployment

  • Participate in discussions with the Scrum and Product teams to develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements related to the Warranty System
  • Develop, code, configure, and test in Java programs and integrations
  • Follow industry standard software design methodology for development and documentation
  • Analyze assignments, and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs

What Skills You Need

 

  • 3 or more  years experience in full stack design, development, testing and integration of highly complex software solutions
  • Experience with Java and Python programming languages
  • Understanding of application development, databases, data management and infrastructure
  • Expertise  with integration technologies such as REST APIs
  • Knowledge of either AWS or Other cloud technologies
  • Strong, interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven experience as working in a team environment

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Expertise configuring, and implementing system execution/quality monitoring tools
  • Familiarity  with DevOps principles and lean development (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)
  • Exposure to implementing major software programs leveraging change management
  • Understanding of design patterns and loosely coupled architectures
  • Experience with software test automation (TDD and Unit Testing Frameworks)

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or Equivalent Degree
