Your Responsibilities

As a Infrastructure Engineer for John Deere located in Moline, Illinois you will….

  • Provide daily SAP system administration support for existing and new SAP environments
  • Serves as an expert and is routinely involved in decision making relative to processes, technology or business-related issues
  • Participate as an effective and key member on the scrum teams
  • Manage the current infrastructure to allow for the maximum availability, at a minimum cost, and optimizing performance in a complex environment for multiple business processes

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years of experience with SAP Basis administration
  • 2 or more years of experience with database administration
  • 2 or more years of experience with networking, applications, and computing
  • 4 or more years of Information Technology and/or business experience
  • 4 or more years of Agile team experience in a team environment
  • 1 or more years of experience working with a managed service provider
  • 1 or more years of experience implementing major programs which involve changes in process

What Makes You Stand Out

  • SAP Basis Administration and/or Hana certification
  • Understands various security solutions (SSL/OAuth/SNC)
  • Experience in Automation & Monitoring technologies
  • Experience in SAP Change and Transport Management
  • Experience in problem and change management procedures/methodologies
  • Experience in ITILL practices and tools (ServiceNow, etc.)

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
