Title: Part-Time Student-Marketing Crop Production-Moline IL - 81942 

Onsite/Remote: Partial Remote Position 


This position will be primarily located at John Deere’s facility in Moline, Illinois. It is open to remote work during the academic year with work onsite as needed during the summer semester and subject to Manager discretion.


The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

Your Responsibilities


As a Part-Time Student working with John Deere’s Corn & Soy Production Step Program located in Moline, Illinois, you will:


  • Support Go-to-Market activities
  • Grow your knowledge of the planting job
  • Learn what is important to our planting customers
  • Help organize events that bring groups of people together
  • Answer questions around our products
  • Assist in demonstrations
  • Collaborate with teammates

What Skills You Need


  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
  • Graduation date of May 2023 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year
  • Available to work during the summer semester
  • Available to work on assignments remotely with periodic face to face in the Moline Illinois office as needed
  • Organizational skills
  • Communication skills
  • Self-motivated yet able to work with a team
  • Hard working
  • Skills in Power Point, Power Bi, Excel or other web-based applications
  • Creative thinking on how to engage people with products and products with applications for field planting operations

  • Understand farmers and the jobs on the farm
  • Able to grasp concepts of planting equipment and the job of planting
  • Ability to collect information using Interviewing style techniques
  • Experience or internship working farm shows
