Title: People Experience - HR Representative - 77105
This position may be located in Urbandale, IA, or Moline, IL, per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.
Your Responsibilities
As a People Experience - HR Representative for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) supporting all ISG locations within the US you will act as a liaison between Unit HR and Hiring manager for a seamless onboarding transition for new employees within the ISG groups which include multiple locations within the US. In addition, you will:
- Welcome new hires with all onboarding activities including but not limited to, scheduling first day details, reviewing company policies, ISG practices, and introductions to the company’s culture and operations.
- Coordinate with IT to schedule asset deployment.
- Operate as an inclusive employee, be aware of, and embrace, diversity of thought, cultural differences, and can act as the voice of employees
- Support various Human Resources processes for the ISG organization, including HR initiatives, and policies.
- Benchmark with HR in other regions for best practices.

What Skills You Need
- Strong team player with high energy to create a positive onboarding experience for new John Deere employees within the ISG organization
- One or more years of experience in counseling others on HR policies and procedures
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience operating as an inclusive employee that is aware of, and embraces, diversity of thought, cultural differences, and can act as the voice of employees
- Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%
What Makes You Stand Out
- Two or more years of experience in HR processes, such as onboarding, recruiting/staffing, and HR operations
- Knowledge and experience using SAP HR, Employee Central, and/or similar tools
- PHR or SHRM Certification
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management
