Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in the Manufacturing Engineering Factory Controller Programming agile scrum team, you would work on completing user stories, using Visual Studio2019 IDE and programming primarily in .Net/C# and Angular. You will use test driven development and continuous builds using Jenkins. In addition, you will; 

 

  • Develop and implement technical solutions to deliver on User Stories 
  • Assist in resolution of IT technical issues in the product team 
  • Establish and implement CI/CD pipelines 
  • Develop automated test scripts  
  • Resolve incidents as reported by our factories and other business users 
  • Perform research, fix defects and complete factory software deployments as needed 
  • Provide after-hours support and implementation activities as needed 

 

What Skills You Need

  • Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions leveraging change management (2+ years across multiple of these .NET, C#, Web API, SQL, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and optimization  
  • Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment 
  • Proven experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery such as GitHub and Jenkins  
  • Experience with software test automation (TDD and Unit Testing Frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Cypress 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Working understanding of design patterns  
  • Experience configuring and implementing system execution/quality monitoring tools 
  • Proven experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery such as GitHub and Jenkins  
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS / Azure / SCP)  
  • Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints  

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology  (or equivalent work experience)
