Title: Operations Sr. Accountant
Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila IJD Saltillo
Function: Accounting / Finance

Main responsibilities:

Performs various complex professional accounting assignments requiring knowledge of Business Unit, Company policy, or accounting theory. Includes financial forecast preparation coordinating, preparing and analyzing financial information and reports that provide summary information for management use in making Company financial decisions. Requires additional special knowledge, insight, or technical skills.

What Skills You Need:

Gathers, reviews, and analyzes statistical information and may review documents prepared by others.
Makes necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report information.
Examines accounting information contained in reports and exhibits, traces and reconciles unusual variances.
Performs complex account reconciliations.
Prepares various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial/cost reports, statements, or exhibits.
Provides guidance or supervision.
Provides financial counsel to management and other functional disciplines in area of expertise.

What Makes you stand out:

Understanding of financial concepts such as budgets, discounted cash flow (DCF), return on investment (ROI), operating return on assets (OROA), shareholder value added (SVA), etc.

Understands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent.

Knowledge of accounting systems and policies, ideally including the process that has been followed at John Deere.
