Your Position:

Major Purpose

Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

Major Duties

  • This position will be in loader Hydraulic & Electrical design team, and mainly responsible for electrical system design and electrical harness/component design and development for PDP and CI projects.
  • Work with PV&V team to identify test items, support to make test plans and analyze test reports to make sure design meet requirements.
  • Support or directly work with cross team to Investigate product quality problems or other vehicle issues happened on production line, PV&V machines, or field customer machines, determines root cause, gathers, and analyzes data and implements corrective actions as needed.
  • Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications. This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
  • Provides technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality, and supply management organizations.

Reqired

  • Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools of Creo, CAD, PDM...
  • Skill in using Capital Harness System (CHS) tool would be better.
  • Skill in using company information systems and processes.
  • Understanding of basic electrical design guideline/principles and can independently use the knowledge.
  • Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.
  • Product engineering experience related to electrical system 3 - 5 years.
  • English skill.

 

Skills, Abilities, Knowledge

Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
Skill in using company information systems and processes.
Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product
Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit. Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.
Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETDP) and/or Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP).

Education

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
