Your Responsibilities

As a Agronomic Analyst III for Science Agronomy located in Urbandale, IA, you will….

  • Lead the development, testing & validation of Predictive Analytics tools used in Agronomy Analyzer
  • Use Statistical Methods to optimize site locations required and to detail treatment effects geospatially
  • Leads our use of mixed models to optimize outcome results based on our digital infrastructure
  • Advise business units on the strength, weaknesses and best course of future action based on the statistical outcomes of our aggregate analysis

What Skills You Need

  • 10+ years of experience using geospatial statistics to determine the strength of outcomes
  • 5+ years using mixed models to predict site location, outcomes and controlling factors.
  • 10+ years of experience performing aggregate analysis
  • 10+ years of experience using geospatial methods in support of Agronomic decisions
  • 10+ years of experience in experimental design using an on-farm-network to test hypothesis
  • 5+ years using predictive analytics to optimize testing

  • 10+ years using predictive analytics to optimize testing
  • 10+ years using mixed models to predict site location, outcomes and controlling factors.
  • 5+ years experience using predictive modeling to forecast anticipated responses
  • Experience working in an international team
  • Ability to boil things down to the key elements and effectively communicate to the strategic business units
  • Collaborative, collegial team player comfortable with ambiguity


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • PhD in Geospatial Statistics, Statistics, Agronomy, Mathematics or related field and/or commensurate years of experience
