Your Responsibilities

As an Electronics Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will be supporting the electronics work necessary to meet the tractor program goals.  This will include reviewing database change requests, generating a historical archive, and processing translation string requests

What Skills You Need

  • 2+ years of Product Engineering experience in the design, development, or testing of equipment in the electrical/electronic domain
  • 2+ years of experience with network communication and design
  • Detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of vehicle networks and protocols (CAN, J1939, IOSBUS, etc.)
  • Experience with databases
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communications skills, including good negotiation and issue resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to understand multiple, complex requests and negotiate a mutually beneficial plan in a very dynamic environment
  • Knowledge in engineering principles, theory, and practice

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience designing functionality that spans multiple electronic control units and software modules
  • Experience with agricultural vehicle applications
  • Experience in roles that require a working knowledge of engineering principles as they relate to the company product
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of tractor electrical and electronic systems
  • Formal training in System Engineering
  • Experience with Enterprise Product Development Process (EPDP)


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
