Your Responsibilities


As a PV&V Drivetrain Test Fixture Design Engineer for Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will coordinate with test engineers and Design engineers to develop fixture geometry to support test articles. In addition, you will…


  • Collaborate with others to design and model complete UUT (unit under test) hydraulic systems.
  • Support test article mechanical and hydraulic designs as well as auxiliary fixtures.
  • Support test setup and asset inventory management processes

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)


  • Experience with drivetrain hardware, sheet metal design or similar
  • Experience with 3D modeling or cad tools
  • Great communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Technical / Basic understanding of engine & drivetrain systems, lab experience

What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)


  • Knowledge of GDT & JDV24 Tool Design Standards
  • Experience DT components, bearing selection, bolted joint design, or Hydraulics
  • Experience providing technical communication
  • Experience developing detailed work instructions
  • Experience with part fabrication, machining, machine shop processes
  • Collaboration experience with international teams



Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Agricultural Engineering or relevant work experience
