Function: Customer & Product Support
Title: Part-Time Student-Customer Product Support - Waterloo, IA - 53395 

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in deployment of notices to JD dealer network. This utilizes telematics and other data from machines, and compares it with known solutions to issues; then sends notifications to dealers in order to resolve customers' issues more quickly.
  • This position will search for and create evidence packages for good notices.

What It Takes

  • Experience analyzing data with SQL, R or Python Experience in using Microsoft Tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Good interpersonal skills, work in teams and time management
  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Customer Support, Engineering, Computer Science or Data Analytics, or related Technical degree
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • Graduation date of December 2020 or later 
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

  • Data analytics
  • Experience/Familiarity with agricultural equipment business
  • Technical knowledge of tractor and implement operation, repair and diagnostic procedures
