Title: Part-Time Student - Product Support - Waterloo, IA - 51939

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work and PM schedules for Area Maintenance group.
  • Student would be responsible for work order management, in particular helping coordinate and schedule PM work orders and drive down delinquencies and old work orders.
  • They would also be responsible for tracking on-time PM completion, kitting of parts for PM work orders, and the coordination of sending and receiving of calibrated tools to and from calibration.
  • Student will help with labor reconciliation and material allotments for work order management.
  • They would also perform other misc. work required or directed by supervisors in various aspects of the general maintenance business in support of the local area maintenance group.
  • This is a technical position.

What It Takes

  • Technical knowledge in maintenance activities a plus.
  • Ability to understand terms and concepts in regard to maintenance.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Industrial Technology or business
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • Graduation date of May 2020 or later 
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

  • Scheduling / planning activities experience would be beneficial.
