Your Responsibilities
As a Supply Management Specialist for John Deere Power Systems located in Waterloo IA, you will work Strategic Sourcing, Engineering, Quality and Procurement to implement and maintain supply strategies to support current production business for the Aftertreatment, Power Cylinder, Valvetrain & Structures commodities.
- Lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement projects to support cost, quality, delivery, and risk reduction
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members to influence and align priorities
- Negotiate with supply with the supply base to meet overall goals for cost, quality, and continuity of supply.

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of Supply Management or applicable cross functional experience
- 3 or more years of experience in roles that required demonstration of effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- 1 or more years of experience with demonstrated effective internal and/or supplier negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- 1 or more years of experience with project management including creating a plan, coordinating resources, and delivering results
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience working on global teams
- Previous product design, quality, cost management or experience equivalent to supply management experience
- Experience in roles that require an advanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, PowerBI) and Tableau
- Working knowledge of SAP
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience
