Title: Worksite Architect, AUTOSAR (Remote Availability) - 49634

Your Responsibilities

As a Worksite Architect, for the John Deere Enterprise, you will develop key components of the architecture of the embedded AUTOSAR defined operating system.  In addition, you will:

  • Recognize gaps and misalignments and propose solutions, focusing on AUTOSAR below the RTE.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architectural requirements and the worksite architecture.
  • Develop and publish embedded software work flows and processes for AUTOSAR development.
  • Identify necessary or new features into the AUTOSAR Standard.
  • Research the industry and experts for innovations and trends related to embedded architectures, specific to the AUTOSAR standard.
  • Identify emerging technology trends that have potential major business impact.

What Skills You Need

  • Technical skill and knowledge in electronic systems engineering or electronic/technology/software architecture
  • Technical skill and knowledge in systems engineering and architecture
  • Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge
  • Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit
  • Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors
  • Technical skill and knowledge in AUTOSAR architecture, structure, and workflows
  • Systems Design and Management Certificate from MIT or equivalent

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or Technology related discipline
