The European competence center for harvesting machines from John Deere is located in Zweibrücken. Around 1,000 employees develop and build combine harvesters and self-propelled forage harvesters here. We are represented worldwide with our products .

Intern Product Validation and Verification (m/w/d)




Your Responsibilities:

Develop a data and video logging device for logging machine usage of agricultural equipment
Conduct validation tests of your system in the factory prior to the harvest season
Validate your video logging device in harvest season 2022 on various test farms around Europe
Work independantly in a cross functional team
We are more than happy to support your Bachelor or Master thesis but this is not a requirement for your intenrship



What Skills You Need:

Ideally you have background in computer sciences, information technologies, electronics or mechatronics
Agricultural background is beneficial
Experience with MatLab, Python and digital image processing
Experience with CAN logging and data logging
You should enjoy working in a team and proactively approach people to achieve your project goals
You should be open to work independantly and leverage other team members as required
English and/ or German language skills. French language skills may be helpful.
