Infrastructure Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

As an Infrastructure Engineer for John Deere in the Netherlands, you will represent Global IT at the Sprayer Factory and our Branch in Horst. In this position you will ensure that the services performed by Global IT are delivered effectively for the unit.

• Maintaining a strong relationships with business leadership and key stakeholders.
• Provide IT leadership, coordination and accountability for the business unit.
• Representing IT in business unit staff meetings, strategic planning and tactical planning activities that impact day to day operations.
• Ensures IT services & operations at the unit are being delivered effectively across all IT domains.
• Drives and coordinates IT infrastructure projects.
• Consults and advises management and employees.
• Ensures business needs and initiatives are properly identified.
• Coordinate/Support IT compliance activities for the business.

• Ability to prioritize support requests, determine which has the highest priority and delegate requests to others on team when appropriate.

• Good English language skills.

Ideally you will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ year experience.
• An affection with Agricultural business.
• Good Dutch and German language skills would be beneficial.
