To support the growth of John Deere Polska Business Service Center office in Poznan, we are currently seeking a:

Legal counsel / Paralegal

Grade 8

Major purpose:

As a Project Manager, Warranty Policy at the BSC located in (Poznan, Poland), you will be responsible for legislative and legal policy reviews as it pertains to the John Deere warranty policy.  You will work closely with the John Deere warranty administration policy team and John Deere legal team to update policy documents and warranty reimbursement or dealer business systems.

Your Responsibilities:

• Identifies the project deliverable, directs the design of the project plan, and leads the execution of the plan,
• Ensures projects are developed with realistic outcomes, business objectives.
• Works closely with our legal and legislative teams to drive policy decisions,
• Monitors ongoing project/program status and maintains communications with business unit leadership and affected stakeholders.

What It Takes:

• 5+ years’ experience in a project or product management role,
• 3+ years’ experience in working with an equipment manufacturer,
• 3+ years’ experience working with legal documentation,
• Very good interpersonal communication skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution oriented,
• Degree or equivalent experience in product engineering, quality, manufacturing operations, production employee supervision, supply management, industrial engineering, law, project management etc.
• Max. 25% travels – to meet the Legal Team in Germany,
• Fluency in English,
• Knowledge of business processes in area of Warranty.

Nice to have:

• 3+ years’ experience with legal or legislative research,
• 3+ years’ experience in managing legal communication,
• 3+ years’ experience inworking with a global perspective,
• 3+ years’ experience in working as a lawyer or paralegal.
• German language skills,
