Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 5 years related experience. Required skills: Perform data analysis, design, develop and test data services to meet business requirements and technical specifications (5 yrs); Establish data pipelines that performs acquisition from different data sources and enrich and integrate them into the required flavor utilizing ETL technologies, Python, SQL, AWS services, Apache Spark, GIT CI/CD and Jenkins (5 yrs); Design best practices to support continuous process automation for data ingestion and data pipeline workflows and develop data models (5 yrs); Create and maintain data analytics environment for multiple data products that enables end­users to combine and analyze large volumes of data (2 yrs); Identify various performance bottlenecks in the frameworks and make adjustments to processes for increased efficiency using tools and technologies (ETL technologies, SQL, AWS Services, Python, Databricks or Apache Spark) (2 yrs); Provide data Insights to architect team and help them with architectural design decision including data modeling (2 yrs).
